New Delhi, 17 September 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated 'Semicon India 2026' at Yashobhoomi Complex in New Delhi. The main objective of this three-day conference is to promote cooperation, investment, innovation and talent in India. More than 600 exhibitors, 300 international companies and delegations from more than 50 countries are participating in this program. The exhibition includes six country pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore and Sweden, pavilions for the twelve state governments of India and a special pavilion for startups.
This conference and exhibition is based on the theme 'Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem'. Global and Indian companies, policy-makers, investors, researchers, startups, educational institutions and students from the semiconductor and electronics sector are participating in it.
