Puranpur (Pilibhit). The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in the city and region. On this occasion, a grand procession was organized in Puranpur and Madhotanda, in which local villagers participated enthusiastically. During the procession, devotees danced vigorously to the melodious tunes of drums and bands. During the yatra, attractive tableaux of various forms of Lord Shri Ganesha were also decorated, which remained the center of everyone's attraction. Keeping in mind the security arrangements in Madhotanda, Madhotanda Police Force was deployed.
The entire procession took place in a peaceful and cordial atmosphere under the strict presence and supervision of the police. Devotees welcomed the procession by showering flowers at various places. Here, many public representatives, social workers, businessmen etc. were present in the procession taken out in Puranpur. Everyone was walking shouting slogans of Ganpati Bappa Morya.
During this, Municipal Council Chairman Shailendra Gupta also went in the procession and took blessings of Ganpati Bappa. Apart from him, many dignitaries of the area were present in the procession. During the procession, Kotwali police were seen making arrangements at various places.
