New Delhi. An important update has come out regarding the 8th Central Pay Commission for Central Government employees and pensioners. After a long gap, the Commission has once again issued a program to organize meetings with employee organizations and pensioners. This has increased the hope of expediting the pay commission process and has awakened new hope among lakhs of employees and pensioners.
Important meetings will be held in Delhi on 7th and 10th August
According to the program released by the Commission, important meetings will be organized with representatives of employee organizations and pensioners on August 7 and August 10 in New Delhi. The objective of these meetings is to receive suggestions from various organizations and to discuss in detail the issues related to pay, allowances and pension. Employees and pensioners organizations wishing to participate in the meeting will have to ensure their participation as per the guidelines issued by the Commission.
Eyes on 1.19 crore employees-pensioners
About 1.19 crore central employees and pensioners across the country are waiting for the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission. Based on the recommendations of the Commission, the path for future changes in salary, pension and other service benefits will be decided. This is the reason why employees keep a special eye on every meeting of the Commission.
Suggestions will be taken from employee organizations
The 8th Pay Commission is taking the opinion of employee organizations, pensioners’ associations and other concerned parties before formulating its final recommendations. Pay structure, allowances, pension system and other service related issues will be discussed in these meetings so that the views of all parties can be included in the final report.
Awaiting the commission’s report
The Commission is currently in the process of gathering suggestions from various stakeholders. After this, after studying all the suggestions and economic conditions, a final report will be prepared, which will be submitted to the Central Government. The government will take final decisions related to salary and pension after considering the report.
