Great news for land owners in Bihar! Now e-measurement of land will be done immediately
Patna. The state government has taken an important step to ensure speedy disposal of land related cases in Bihar. With the aim of speeding up the process of e-measurement of land, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has prepared a new strategy. Its direct benefit will be given to thousands of ryots and land owners, who have been waiting for a long time for the measurement of their land and resolution of related matters.
Government’s new initiative amid increasing applications
The number of applications related to land measurement is continuously increasing in the state. Due to large number of applications pending in many districts, people have to wait beyond the stipulated time limit. In view of this situation, the department has decided to make better use of the available resources.
Under the new system, those areas will be identified where the applications for e-Measure are less and if necessary, the officers working there will be sent to those areas where the pressure of applications is more. This will balance the workload and speed up disposal of pending cases.
The pace will increase with the deployment of government officials
The department believes that with the implementation of the deputation system of Amins, measurement work will be completed faster in areas with high number of applications. This will not only reduce the number of pending cases but will also enable timely disposal of new applications. Land measurers often play an important role in land disputes, registry, partition and other revenue matters. Therefore, the speeding up of this process is expected to provide great relief to the common people.
Appointment of trained ministers
The government does not want to depend only on existing employees. In view of the increasing workload, additional appointment of trained Amins is also being planned. For this, preparations have started to add qualified and trained personnel through outsourcing. This step will provide additional human resources to the department and will help in completing the tasks of e-Measurement in a time bound manner.
Thousands of cases are pending
According to the information, about 45 thousand applications related to e-meter are still pending in the state. Many applicants have been waiting for their turn for months. The department is now working towards settling these cases on priority basis so that people can get timely services.
