Great news for the teachers of Bihar! Now salary will come directly into bank account

Patna. There is a relief news for the teachers working in universities and colleges of Bihar. Now preparations are underway in the state to transfer teachers' salaries directly from the government treasury to their bank accounts instead of sending them through universities. This change may completely change the existing process of salary payment.

The Higher Education Department has prepared a proposal in this regard. According to the information, consent has been received from Lok Bhawan regarding the new arrangement. Now preparations are on to place it before the state cabinet for final approval.

Salary will reach directly into bank account

Till now the government provides salary funds to universities through the treasury. After this, the respective universities make the payment into the accounts of the teachers at their level. After the proposed change, this middle process can be removed and salaries will be sent directly from the treasury to the bank accounts of teachers.

There will be change in the responsibilities of universities

Once the new system is implemented, the responsibilities of preparing salary related bills, checking the records of teachers and employees and completing payment related formalities will be decided in a new way. The government is trying to make the entire process more transparent and systematic.

Awaiting cabinet approval

At present this is a proposed arrangement, which will require the approval of the State Cabinet before its implementation. After getting approval from the Cabinet, further guidelines can be issued by the Higher Education Department. After this, the way will be cleared to start the new process of salary payment in universities and colleges.

That is, the teachers of Bihar are expected to get the benefit of this change, but when the new system will be implemented, it will depend on the approval of the cabinet and the orders issued thereafter.
