This high-speed corridor will directly connect many important districts of the state with Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, opening new avenues of travel, trade and investment.

South Bihar will get direct benefit

This expressway can prove to be a game changer especially for the districts of South Bihar. Access to big cities from areas like Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya will be much easier than before. Long journey will be completed in half the time

Currently it takes about 12 to 14 hours to travel by road from Varanasi to Kolkata. But after the construction of the expressway, this distance can be covered in about 6 hours. This will speed up freight transportation and reduce transport costs.

This expressway will start from Varanasi region of Uttar Pradesh and pass through many parts of Bihar. After this it will reach Kolkata connecting Jharkhand and West Bengal.
