But this time there has been a big change in the series, which is proving shocking for many viewers. The role of Annu Mishra, the elder son of the Mishra family, has now changed. In the first four seasons, this role was played brilliantly by Vaibhav Raj Gupta. Now Anant V Joshi will be seen in this role in his place.
Vaibhav Raj Gupta was a part of Gullak for the last four seasons. He played the role of Annu Bhaiya so well that the audience became very emotionally connected with his character. The character of Annu Bhaiya had become the life of the series. But now Anant V Joshi has come into this role in the fifth season. He tries to act in the style of Vaibhav Raj Gupta, but the audience is missing the old Annu Bhaiya a lot. Even though the teaser is good, fans are not liking the new face. Fans have made a lot of comments under the teaser on YouTube. Many people have written that TVF took this wrong decision. They want the old Annu Bhaiya because the audience has a lot of memories and emotions associated with him.
Why did Vaibhav Raj Gupta leave the series?
For the fans who are sad to see the new Annu Bhaiya, it is important to know that Vaibhav Raj Gupta had distanced himself from ‘Gullak’ in the year 2025. According to a report, after working successfully for four seasons, there were creative differences between Vaibhav and the TVF team regarding the fifth season.
