Viral-Video: A video of a woman being assaulted outside Hafeezpet railway station in Telangana is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video that surfaced on Friday night, a man dressed in uniform is seen assaulting a woman and dragging her on the road by holding her hair. After the video surfaced, people expressed anger over the incident and started demanding action.

However, an important thing has come to light in the matter. Initially the accused was being described as an RPF constable on social media, but according to the report of Telangana Today, South Central Railway after investigation made it clear that he is not an RPF jawan. He has been identified as a home guard of Telangana State Police, who was on duty at Hafeezpet railway station. Railways has sent him back to Telangana Police Department.

Different claims regarding the beginning of the dispute

According to the report of The New Indian Express, the complete picture regarding the reason for the incident has not been revealed yet. According to the claims made by the local people and the police, there was an altercation between the woman and the home guard. It is alleged that the woman had misbehaved with him and used abusive words. However, despite this, it is clearly visible in the video that the guard has used force.

Action started after the video went viral

After the video surfaced, South Central Railway took information about the matter and identified the employee concerned. According to the Railways, the home guard has been sent back to his parent department, where necessary disciplinary action is to be taken against him. According to the police, the woman's formal complaint regarding the incident has not been registered yet.
