New Delhi: The film 'Hanuman Ansh' is in the news these days for its excellent performance at the box office. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, this film may have progressed slowly in the beginning, but the word of mouth praise from the audience increased its earnings rapidly. The film has now made a net collection of more than Rs 80 crore. Meanwhile, the director has revealed his struggle regarding the film and an experience related to the OTT platform.
Disappointing response received on OTT platform
Director Vishal Chaturvedi told that before making the film, he had presented his story to an OTT platform. However, he was deeply hurt by the kind of response he received there.
According to the director, he had narrated the story related to Saint Neem Karoli Baba i.e. Maharaj Ji with full emotion. While narrating the story, he himself became emotional and cried. Despite this his story was not accepted. Vishal said that he did not like the way the story was rejected and he felt this behavior was insulting.
Didn't accept defeat after rejection
Vishal Chaturvedi said that rejection is nothing new for filmmakers. He has also faced failure and not being heard many times, but he believes that even if a story is not liked, it can be rejected with respect.

He took this experience as a challenge and decided to convey his story to the audience. Later the film was released in theaters and gradually started getting support from the audience.
The fate of the film changed at the box office
'Hanuman Ansh' was released in theaters on 7 August. The film's earnings were very low in the initial days. The business of around Rs 10 lakh was done on the first day, while the film earned around Rs 1.80 crore in the first week. Collection remained slow in the second week also.
However, from the third week onwards the film got the benefit of positive response and mouth publicity from the audience. After this, the earnings increased and the film made an India net collection of more than Rs 80 crore.

'Hanuman Ansh' is a spiritual drama film, whose story is said to be inspired by the life of Saint Neem Karoli Baba. Shobhinav Satya has played the role of Maharaj ji in the film. As the discussion about the film has increased among the audience, its earnings have also increased continuously.
