Team India’s young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has remembered the final of the Under-19 World Cup before the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Earlier this year, Vaibhav had scored 175 runs in 80 balls in the title match played at the Harare Sports Club Ground. While playing with England’s bowling, he hit 15 fours and 15 sixes. Thanks to his destructive innings, Team India defeated England by 100 runs and captured the U19 World Cup title for the sixth time.
Vaibhav is now ready to rock Harare again. All the matches of the 3-match T20 series between India and Zimbabwe are to be played here. Before the series, Vaibhav warned Zimbabwe that he knows the pitch and conditions here very well and wants to play big innings again.

Trying to continue the momentum in Harare – Vaibhav
Vaibhav said that he would like to continue the momentum of the Under-19 World Cup by taking advantage of the experience of playing in Harare. He said, ‘This ground is very memorable for me. Just 4 months ago we won the Under-19 World Cup final here, so this is a very special ground for me. It is every player’s dream to represent India and this is a very special moment for me. It is a different feeling to play for India again on the same ground where we had created history 4 months ago. I am enjoying it a lot.

Vaibhav further said, ‘I have good knowledge about the pitch and conditions here. Whatever learning I learned from that tournament, I will now try to apply it in these matches and perform well.
He said, ‘I will rely on the practice I have done so far and will try to play according to my game. I will try my best to contribute whatever I can to the team. I have played two matches on this ground and my performance in both was good. Now I want to continue the same rhythm further.
