Hard work paid off: Masodhi police recovered stolen Ashtadhatu idols of Ram-Janaki.

Masodhi police station has achieved great success and recovered the precious idols of Ram, Laxman and Mata Janaki made of Ashtadhatu stolen from Thakurbari located in Chhata village. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the village after the recovery of the idols, while the activeness and quick action of the police is being appreciated in the area. It is said that the ancient idols of Ashtadhatu of Ram, Lakshman and Janaki were stolen by unknown thieves from Thakurbari located in village Chhata of Masaurhi police station area. After the incident, there was huge anger among the devotees and villagers.

In view of the seriousness of the matter, an FIR was registered under Section 331(4)/305 BNS on case number 192/26 dated 17.03.26 in Masaurhi police station. During the investigation of the case, the police was continuously investigating in a technical and scientific manner under the leadership of Masaurhi police station chief Vivek Bharti. The police were continuously conducting raids on the basis of tower dump, technical evidence and activities of the suspects. Due to increasing police raid and fear of arrest, the thieves left the stolen idols on the side of village Chhata main road on Monday, from where the police recovered them safely.

Police Station Chief Vivek Bharti said that the criminals involved in the case have been identified and continuous raids are going on for their arrest. Soon all the accused will be arrested and sent to jail in judicial custody. Shahabad Panchayat head Ravi Prakash also actively cooperated in the recovery of the idols. Praising the efforts of the police administration and the chief, the villagers said that religious faith was saved from being harmed by the timely recovery of the idols. As soon as the news of recovery of the idol was received, there was a wave of happiness in the village and surrounding areas and a crowd of devotees gathered in the Thakurbari complex.
