Harmanpreet left captaincy after review meeting
Harmanpreet Kaur took the decision to leave the captaincy of all three formats of Team India after a review meeting with BCCI. A review meeting of the Indian women’s cricket team was held in Guwahati, which was presided over by BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia. Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and coach Amol Majumdar were also present in this meeting on behalf of the Indian women’s team.
The decision to leave captaincy is not easy – Harmanpreet
Harmanpreet Kaur, while leaving the captaincy of the Indian women’s cricket team, wrote on Instagram that it was not an easy decision for her. Many memories, emotions and sacrifices are associated with this decision in his life.
Harmanpreet Kaur told that she gave everything for the Indian women’s cricket team. For him the team always came first. As a captain, he also took some difficult decisions for the team, so that it could be made better.
She wrote at the end of her post that she is leaving the captaincy because she feels that now the team is in a better position. He has completed his duty as captain and now it is his turn to turn the page of this book. He wrote that even though I have left the captaincy, my love for the Indian cricket team will continue.
