Harsha Bhogle Reacts To Fake Viral Clip of Sooryavanshi

Playing around with artificial intelligence now makes faking videos surprisingly simple. When IPL 2026 wrapped up, a clip featuring Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Sooryavanshi blew up online. The footage shows him labeling Virat Kohli as sluggish, also accusing him of selfishness. That reaction supposedly followed a question from famous cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle – wondering if he aimed to rule the game like Kohli. Truth is, none of it happened. The whole thing was made up.

Out of nowhere, Harsha jumped online once the clip spread fast. Not me, he said – didn’t ask that thing, nobody answered like that either.

“There is a fake dubbed clip of me and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi doing the rounds on social media. It depicts Vaibhav as being rude and cocky. Neither was that question asked nor was there an answer like that. It is cruel and mischievous, especially towards a young kid who has been very respectful in his few interactions,” Harsha wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

After the IPL 2026 final involving Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans, Sooryavanshi and Kohli exchanged touching words. Footage of their moment appeared on the league’s official social media page – Kohli was captured saying, “Good game, kid.” Though just fifteen, he stood before the RCB legend with palms pressed together, showing deep reverence. Because of his gesture, something quiet but powerful passed between them.

While collecting the Orange Cap after topping the charts with 776 runs in IPL 2026, Sooryavenshi drew admiration from Kohli. Midway through the ceremony, Kohli turned to ex-RCB partner AB de Villiers, saying the young batter stands apart – his ability clear every time he faces a bowler

Despite the mutual admiration between Sooryavanshi and Kohli, social media remains busy spreading fake narratives
