Sensational CCTV footage of Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan being shot dead in broad daylight in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh has emerged. In this video of about 89 seconds, the entire incident has been captured on camera. According to the footage, Ankit Baliyan leaves the gym and reaches his car, but before he can sit in the car safely, four attackers surround him and start firing bullets.
According to the police, the attackers had reached the spot on two motorcycles and fired about 18 rounds. Ankit Baliyan died on the spot after being shot. Shortly after the incident, a post appeared on social media claiming responsibility for the murder in the name of Gogi Gang. Police and investigating agencies are now investigating this case from the possible angle of organized crime.
What was seen in CCTV?
In the CCTV footage that surfaced, Ankit Baliyan is seen coming out of the gym and moving towards his car. After reaching the car, he places his bag first. After this he tries to sit in the car from the other side of the vehicle. Meanwhile, four attackers are seen moving towards them on foot. Before Ankit could understand anything, the attackers surrounded him from all sides and started firing continuously with pistols. The sudden firing created chaos on the spot. After committing the crime the attackers fled from there.
What did ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash say?
Giving information about the incident, ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash said that the murder took place on August 26 in Shamli district. Investigation of CCTV footage has revealed the involvement of four attackers in the crime. ADG Amitabh Yash said, “Ankit Baliyan was murdered on August 26 in Shamli district. After examining the CCTV footage, it was found that there were about four people who came on two motorcycles and fired 18 rounds. One of the bullets hit Ankit Baliyan in his head and he died on the spot.”
Who posted after the murder?
A post that appeared on social media after the murder has made the matter more serious. The post claimed that Ankit Balyan was murdered by Gogi Gang. The police is investigating the veracity of this claim and the role of the people behind it. According to the ADG, “A social media post was also found in which it was told that this incident has been carried out by Gogi Gang and this incident has been carried out by a person named Bholu Shahpuria.”
The investigating agencies are now also investigating the source of this social media post, the person who posted it and the claims made in it. The police is trying to find out who are actually the people behind the murder and at what stage the conspiracy for the crime was prepared.
