HC strict on posting against Salman Khan, gave big suggestion to neighbor

Tezzbuzz Desk – The ongoing dispute between Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his neighbor has once again come into discussion. In this case, the Bombay High Court has made important comments during the hearing regarding the use of social media and the allegations made on it. The court clearly said that having access to social media does not mean that irresponsible allegations can be made against a person or material that is harmful to his reputation can be shared.

This controversy is related to Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra. A person living in the neighborhood of the farmhouse had earlier made some allegations and shared videos and other material related to them on social media. Expressing objection regarding these posts, Salman Khan took the path of legal action.

The petition filed by the actor claimed that the material shared on social media is damaging to his image. It was also said that some posts were of objectionable and inflammatory nature. Due to this, the matter reached the court, where the arguments of both the parties were heard.

During the hearing, the court also raised the question that if a person has a complaint regarding any construction work or other activity, then why does he take the help of social media instead of going to the concerned government departments and officials. The court said that legal and administrative mechanisms exist for redressal of complaints, which should be used.

The court also suggested the person concerned to consider removing the content shared on social media. The Court also said that taking every dispute to social media and then taking the time of the courts to decide which post is defamatory cannot be considered appropriate.

At present, the final decision in this matter is yet to come. The court has fixed the date of the next hearing and now all eyes are on how this legal dispute moves in the coming days.
