‘PM should answer the problems of the people’… Congress started a big movement on inflation and unemployment.

Tezzbuzz Desk – Congress has announced to launch a massive mass movement across the country on issues like inflation, unemployment, examination scams and social inequality. The party has made a strategy to run a campaign at the national level for the next few months, in which workers from top leadership to booth level will participate.

Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal gave information about this campaign after the important meeting of the party held in New Delhi. He said that the party will go among the people and listen to their problems and try to hold the government accountable on various issues. Programs will be organized at the national, state, district and block levels during the campaign.

Congress says that rising inflation, lack of employment and controversies related to competitive examinations in the country have affected the youth and common people. The party will directly communicate with the public regarding these issues and put pressure on the government. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is also said to have active participation in this campaign.

The recent Rajya Sabha elections and nomination of some candidates were also discussed in the meeting. Congress leaders alleged that questions were being raised regarding fairness in the election process. The party says that in some cases different candidates were treated differently, which should be investigated impartially.

Congress also made it clear that it will continue its fight at both political and legal levels. However, the party clearly said that it will not boycott any electoral process and will express its views while staying within the democratic system.

During the meeting, the ongoing speculations regarding the possible merger of Congress and Trinamool Congress were also rejected. Party leaders said that there is no truth in such reports and there has been no discussion on the merger of the two parties.

On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi also raised questions regarding the election process and expressed his views through social media. Referring to some recent incidents, he targeted the Election Commission and the ruling party. Congress says that it will take these issues among the public and will raise its voice through a nationwide movement in the coming times.
