Heavy next 48 hours in UP! There will be torrential rain in these districts, read this before leaving your homes

Monsoon has once again become completely kind in Uttar Pradesh. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a major alert for several parts of the state on July 11. The next 48 hours are very sensitive for the state, in which there has been a warning of heavy to very heavy rain, strong thunderstorm and lightning.

A big danger is looming over these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, the situation may be most challenging in the western and Terai districts. It will rain heavily in Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Sambhal and Badaun as well as surrounding areas. The administration has already geared up to deal with situations like waterlogging in these areas, flooding of roads and floods in low-lying areas.

What is the mathematics of weather?

According to meteorologists, due to the activity of the south-west monsoon and the ‘low pressure trough’ extending from South Gujarat to Central Kerala, the moisture level in North India has increased significantly. Due to this moisture, the sky will remain dark and dense in Uttar Pradesh for the next two days. Due to intermittent rains, the maximum temperature of the state will drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, which will give relief to the people from the scorching humidity and heat, but due to strong winds, there will be a danger of trees falling and power supply being disrupted.

Boon for farmers and warning for common people

This rain is no less than nectar for Kharif crops like paddy and maize, but the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to avoid working in the fields during heavy rains and lightning. At the same time, the department has also issued special guidelines for common citizens. An appeal has been made to avoid travelling, stay away from waterlogged areas and not take shelter under trees or poles during lightning.

How will the weather be in future?

The Meteorological Department estimates that this series of rains will continue with full intensity in most parts of the state on July 11 and 12. Even after this, light to moderate rain showers will continue in many districts of the state. This phase of active monsoon will make the weather pleasant in entire Uttar Pradesh, but from safety point of view, everyone needs to be completely alert for the next two days.
