According to the report, in recent years, many countries have entered into new agreements and strengthened their relationships with other countries. This has allowed their citizens to travel visa-free to more countries. This has allowed many countries to surpass the US. US citizens now require prior visas or travel authorization to travel to more countries than before. This ranking reflects travel freedom, not a country’s economic strength or political influence.
Singapore’s passport is the most powerful
This year, Singapore remains the world’s most powerful passport. Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are tied for second place, while Sweden is third. Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Spain are also among the countries with the strongest passports. The UK, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, Austria, and Greece also make the top 10.
