Hero VIDA: Global entry of Hero’s electric brand VIDA, started international journey from Nepal

Hero Video: Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicle brand VIDA has started its expansion outside India. The company has entered Nepal as its first international market. This expansion of VIDA has happened through distributor partnership with Nepal’s leading company CG Motors (Chowdhary Group). Chaudhary Group is one of Nepal’s largest business conglomerates, which operates more than 160 companies and 123 brands worldwide.

Entry into Nepal with two electric products
VIDA has made its debut in the Nepali market with its two flagship electric products. These include the VX2 EVOOTER series and the DIRT.E K3 electric off-roader.

The VX2 EVOOTER series has been designed keeping in mind daily use and urban travel. Meanwhile, DIRT.E K3 is an electric off-road vehicle specially designed for young riders, which provides an exciting riding experience.

VIDA officials said big step
Kaushalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, called the launch in Nepal an important achievement for the company. He said that VIDA is now moving towards taking its engineering and design capabilities developed in India to the global level.

Features of VIDA VX2 Plus and VX2 GO
The VX2 EVOOTER lineup is offered in two variants:

VIDA VX2 Plus
The VIDA VX2 Plus features a 4.4 kWh high-performance battery setup, consisting of two 2.2 kWh removable battery units. This electric scooter is capable of providing a real-world range of up to 140 km. Its top speed is 90 km/h and it can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. Apart from this, it has a gradeability of up to 18 degrees and with the help of DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 65 minutes.

VIDA VX2 GO
VIDA VX2 Go has a 2.2 kWh removable battery, which provides a range of up to 75 km. Its top speed is 70 km/h and it can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Fast charging support is also provided in it, so that the battery can be charged quickly.

Both electric scooters have smart features like My VIDA app, navigation, geo-fencing, call and SMS alerts, OTA updates and removable battery.

VIDA DIRT.E K3 Electric Off-Roader for Youth
The VIDA DIRT.E K3 has been specially designed keeping young riders in mind. It has a three-size adaptive system, so that it can be used according to small, medium and large sizes.

Parental control feature is provided in VIDA DIRT.E K3, with the help of which parents can limit the speed for the safety of children. The riding speed can be set at three levels—8-9 km/h, 17-18 km/h and 23-24 km/h. This ensures a safe and controlled riding experience for young riders.

DIRT.E K3 has a 350W motor and 360Wh removable battery. It can last for about 3 hours and takes about 2 hours to charge 20-80%. This electric off-roader has also received honors like Red Dot Design Award 2025 and CES Innovation Award 2026.

Hero MotoCorp is present in the Nepal market since 2014 and has gained the trust of customers there for a long time. With VIDA’s electric range, the company is now taking a new step towards providing smart, sustainable and modern mobility solutions in Nepal.
