HMD Global may soon launch its new HMD Pulse 2 Series. Ahead of the launch, the specifications and color options of three smartphones in this series: HMD Pulse 2, HMD Pulse 2 Plus, and HMD Pulse 2 Pro, have been leaked online. According to reports, the company will introduce this series targeting budget and mid-range customers. Notably, all three smartphones are expected to feature a Unisoc T615 processor and a 5000mAh battery.
Possible color options for the HMD Pulse 2 series
According to leaked reports, the HMD Pulse 2 Pro will be the most premium model in the series. It could be launched in Midnight Black, Glacier Green, and Twilight Purple color options. The HMD Pulse 2 Plus is likely to be offered in Apricot and Dark Blue colors. The standard HMD Pulse 2, on the other hand, could be launched in Black and Blue color variants.

According to reports, the HMD Pulse 2 Pro is expected to feature a 6.72-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. For better performance, it may be powered by the Unisoc T615 processor. The phone is expected to have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which will provide a good multitasking and storage experience.
For photography, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP front camera, while the rear panel is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary sensor.
What will be special about the HMD Pulse 2 and Pulse 2 Plus?
Both the HMD Pulse 2 and HMD Pulse 2 Plus are expected to feature 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD displays. However, the refresh rates of both phones may differ. While the HMD Pulse 2 is expected to feature a 90Hz refresh rate, the HMD Pulse 2 Plus is likely to feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both smartphones are expected to feature a Unisoc T615 processor and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of RAM, the HMD Pulse 2 is expected to have 4GB of RAM, while the HMD Pulse 2 Plus is expected to have 6GB of RAM.
Camera Setup and Battery
As for the camera, the HMD Pulse 2 and HMD Pulse 2 Plus are expected to feature a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calling, the HMD Pulse 2 is expected to feature an 8MP front camera, while the HMD Pulse 2 Plus is expected to feature a 13MP front camera.
In terms of battery, all three smartphones are expected to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 20W wired fast charging. This is expected to provide users with long battery life.
