Honda Amaze Price Hike: Buying Honda Amaze becomes expensive, know how much the price increased according to the variant

Automobile Desk: Honda Cars India, a car manufacturer with a strong hold in the Indian automobile market, has revised the prices of its popular compact sedan 'Honda Amaze'. If you are also planning to buy Honda Amaze in the near future, then this news can directly affect your budget. The company has increased the prices of different variants of its car, due to which now customers will have to shell out more money than before to bring this car home.

These new rates implemented by Honda have come into effect with immediate effect. The price increase has been kept different according to the different models and transmission options of Honda Amaze available in the market. The price increase made by the company ranges from Rs 4,710 to a maximum of Rs 15,210. However, it is a matter of relief that the company has not increased the prices of all its variants.

By how much did the price of which variant increase?

If we look at the variant-wise increase, the price of manual transmission of the entry-level i.e. base variant 'V' of Honda Amaze has increased by Rs 14,210. A slight increase of Rs 4,710 has been recorded in the price of CVT automatic transmission of this 'V' variant.

Talking about mid-spec variants, the price of manual model of 'VX' has been increased by Rs 13,410. The highest increase in the price of 'VX' CVT automatic variant of this car has been seen. The company has made the biggest increase of Rs 15,210 on this special variant. On the other hand, there is also good news for top-end customers. Honda has not changed the price of manual transmission model of Amaze's top variant 'ZX' by a single rupee, which means this model will remain available at its old price.

After this change in prices, now the new starting ex-showroom price of the base variant of Honda Amaze has become Rs 7.65 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of its most expensive i.e. top variant has reached Rs 9.99 lakh. Customers who are going to book a new car should visit the nearest Honda dealership of their city and get information about the new on-road rates.

Which cars are there in competition?

Honda Amaze has long been a trusted name in the compact sedan segment in the Indian car market. This car is much liked for its luxurious cabin space, comfortable ride quality and powerful petrol engine. In this segment, it competes directly with popular cars like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor. This move by the company may impact the purchase decisions of customers amid increasing competition in the segment and changes in costs.
