Sports Bike: Japanese two-wheeler company Honda has introduced its popular sports bike Honda CBR150R in a new style. This new version launched in Malaysia has been named “Stealth Black Edition”, in which an attractive combination of stylish matte black and orange color is seen.
Waiting for launch in India
Bike lovers in India have been waiting for Honda CBR150R for a long time. Although the company has launched the 2026 model in Malaysia, no official information has been revealed yet regarding its entry in India. According to reports, Honda has been successful in selling premium bikes in India on the basis of its strong sales, as lakhs of customers buy the company’s scooters and motorcycles every year.
What has changed in the new model?
No major mechanical changes have been made in the new CBR150R. The main highlight of this update is its new Stealth Black color, in which the combination of matte black and orange makes it more sporty. The engine, design and features have remained the same.
Power and Performance
The engine of Honda CBR150R generates power of 16HP and torque of 13.7Nm. Whereas its rival Yamaha R15 gives power of 18.4HP and torque of 14.2Nm, due to which R15 seems slightly ahead in terms of performance.
price and competition
The price of this bike in Malaysia has been kept at 13,999 Ringgit (about ₹ 3.14 lakh, ex-showroom). If it is launched in India, it will compete directly with the Yamaha R15, which has a starting price of around ₹ 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Stealth Black edition is definitely updated in terms of style, but the performance gives the same old confidence.
