All that will be known on the launch day of October 6. But the company says that the new Elevate will be more attractive than before, will have more features and will also feel more premium inside.
What has changed from the outside?
Honda has shown some photos and teasers of the new Elevate. It shows that the front part of the car has undergone a lot of changes. Further there is a new grille design and new LED lights which look quite heavy at night. The Honda logo was previously on the grille, now it is placed on the bonnet. It makes the car feel bigger and premium. At the rear, however, there is now a connected LED light bar, which is present in all expensive cars these days. The bumper and other things have also been slightly modified.
The interior is also very luxurious
Not only from the outside, but also from the inside, the car has completely changed. It can be seen in the teaser that the interior has light colored seat covers. Ambient lighting is provided on the dashboard and on the doors, which looks absolutely beautiful at night. The biggest change is that it will now have a 360 degree camera. That means all four sides will be visible while parking the car. And the front seats will also get ventilation, so the seat will stay cool in summer. Both these features were not present in the previous Elevate.
Apart from this, it will now also get a 10.25 inch large touchscreen. But the company has not yet said whether all these features will be available in all variants or only in the top model.
The engine will remain the same
The company is not going to change much in the engine. The 1.5 liter petrol engine that was in the old Elevate will remain the same. This engine is good, gives good mileage. It will get two options namely 6 speed manual and CVT automatic. This means that the main focus in this car is on the design and features
Who will compete with?
When the new Elevate arrives, it will compete directly with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Highrider, Volkswagen Tygun, Skoda Kushak and Tata Sierra. All these cars sell very well in this segment.
