Honda Cars India has launched the updated model of its popular midsize SUV Elevate (Honda Elevate Facelift) in the Indian market. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 11.80 lakh. This is the first major update for the SUV since it was first introduced in September 2023. Pre-booking of this new model was started from October 1 at dealerships across the country. Although there has been no mechanical change in the car, the company has added a new top-end variant and many new features.

The updated lineup now consists of five main trims: SV, V, VX, ZX and the new ZX+. Apart from this, the company has also introduced ZX+ Black version for customers who prefer all-black theme.
The starting price of the base SV trim has been kept at Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom), like the previous model. Prices for the mid-variant V and VX start at Rs 12.29 lakh and Rs 13.93 lakh respectively. At the same time, the ZX trim is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15.39 lakh and the new range-topping ZX+ trim is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 16.80 lakh.
What changed in design and exterior?
The front design of the new Elevate is inspired by the Honda WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept showcased at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. At the front, a large mesh grille and new style connected tri-bar LED daytime running lights are provided. The Honda logo is now set on the front part of the bonnet.
Gloss-black inserts, updated headlamp surrounds and a redesigned front bumper give the SUV a sharp look. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps are provided which reach till the Honda logo in the middle. The connected front and rear lighting setup starts from the VX variant.
The car is available in color options like Crystal Black Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. Apart from this, dual-tone color options have also been made available.
Interior and comfort features
Inside the cabin, the faux-wood trim has now been replaced with ivory and black theme. The top variants get a soft-touch dashboard, gloss-black garnish and perforated ivory leather seats. Also, ambient lighting has been provided on the dashboard and doors.
Talking about the features, front ventilated seats are available on the ZX trim, while the new ZX+ variant has segment-first rear ventilated seats (ventilation for the rear seats). ZX+ also has an 8-way powered driver seat and 4-way powered front passenger seat. Whereas the ZX+ Black Edition gets 17-inch gloss-black alloy wheels and all-black interior package.
Safety and new technology
In terms of safety and technology, 360-degree surround-view camera and front parking sensors have been added to ZX+. Honda’s LaneWatch camera starts available with the VX variant. Apart from this, features like 10.25-inch touchscreen, 8-speaker audio system, one-touch sunroof, wireless charger and PM 2.5 air-quality display are included.
For safety, the Honda Sensing (ADAS) suite of adaptive cruise control now adds a low-speed follow function that works on CVT variants. Safety features like rear disc brake, electronic parking brake and auto brake hold have been provided in the CVT model only from the V trim.
Engine and Performance
No changes have been made to the car mechanically. It has the same 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine, which generates 121 PS power and 145 Nm torque. It has the option of 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox. Paddle shifters are also provided in CVT variants.

In the Indian market, the Honda Elevate facelift will compete directly with established midsize SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
