Honda XR300L: Good news for bike lovers, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is expanding its portfolio in the Indian two-wheeler market. Honda The prices of two motorcycles, XR300L and Honda XR300 Rally, have been announced. The company has also announced that bookings for both the models have started. Both these bikes were included in Honda’s lineup of 10 models launched in July 2026.

293.5cc engine

Both the Honda XR300L and XR300 Rally are powered by a 293.5cc air and oil-cooled engine. The engine is based on the engine from the Honda CB300F and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is claimed to be capable of generating 24.3hp of power and 26.5Nm of torque.

Specialized hardware for off-roading

Both motorcycles are equipped with telescopic front forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Keeping off-roading in mind, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels are offered. The XR300 Rally model is presented in a more adventure and rally-oriented form. It gets features like a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, knuckle guards, rally-inspired bodywork, a larger fuel tank and a taller windscreen.

How much is the price?

The ex-showroom price of the Honda XR300L in India has been set at Rs 1.83 lakh. The ex-showroom price of the Honda XR300 Rally with more features is Rs 2.08 lakh. That is, for the Rally model, customers will have to pay about 25 thousand rupees more than the XR300L. Keeping in mind the customers who want to experience off-roading along with adventure touring, Honda has launched both these motorcycles in the Indian market.

Similar features in both models include 293.5 cc air-cooled engine with oil cooler, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), gas-charged Pro-Link rear suspension and front/rear disc brakes with switchable dual-channel ABS. A fifth feature has been added to the XR300 Rally: the “Honda RoadSync” smartphone connectivity system.

As for the XR300L, it is described as “light, nimble and invincible. It’s a model for those who love the thrill of the trail.” Also, the bike is presented as “the first step in true adventure” that can handle mud, gravel, sand and rocks, and at the same time is easy for everyday urban use. The XR300 Rally is a model “born from Honda’s Dakar Rally-winning DNA”, offering comfortable touring comfort, wind protection and styling reminiscent of rally bikes.
