Horrible murder in Rohtak! Decapitated body of youth found in water house, blood soaked basket also recovered
Haryana: There was a sensation in Ismaila village of Sampla area of Rohtak district on Monday morning when the decapitated body of a young man was found in the water house complex of the village. Seeing the condition of the dead body, the people of the area were shocked. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. In the initial investigation, this case is being considered as murder. The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Neeraj, resident of 9B area of the village. The police is now busy searching for the reason behind this murder and the accused.
According to the information, when the Public Health Department employees reached the water house on Monday morning to start the water supply, they saw the dead body of a young man lying there. There was a large amount of blood spread around the dead body. Seeing this scene, the employees immediately informed the police. After receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and surrounded the area and started investigation. Forensic experts have also collected many important evidence from the spot. During investigation, it was found that the deceased was Neeraj, a resident of the same village.
Blood stained box becomes important clue
An important clue has also been found in the police investigation. A blood-soaked basket was found among the bricks outside a house at some distance from the incident site. Apart from this, slippers and a shirt of the deceased were also found at a different place from the body. Police believe that this same knife may have been used in the murder. The recovered items have been taken into custody and sent for investigation. More clarity is expected in the matter after the forensic report comes.
Neeraj used to work as a laborer in a factory
During interrogation of family members and local people, it was revealed that Neeraj used to work as a laborer in a factory. However, he was not going to work for the last one week. The police is also making this aspect a part of the investigation so that it can be found out whether he had any enmity or dispute with anyone in the recent times.
At the same time, according to the family, Neeraj was present at home till around 7.30 pm on Sunday evening. After this he went out for some work. He did not return home throughout the night, but the family had no suspicion of any untoward incident. When the news of a decapitated body being found in the water body spread on Monday morning, the family members came to know about it. After this, there was mourning in the family and an atmosphere of mourning was created in the village too.
Police suspect two to three attackers
Investigating officers believe that this incident may have been committed by more than one person. According to the police, Neeraj might have tried to save himself during the attack and might have run towards the water tank to save his life. It is suspected that the attackers chased him and reached there and continued the attack. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. Police also suspect that the accused may be related to the village or surrounding areas.
Police examining CCTV footage
To solve the mystery of the case, the police is scanning the recordings of CCTV cameras installed nearby. Footage is being collected from cameras installed on the streets, shops and main roads of the village so that suspicious people can be identified. At present the police is investigating the case from every angle. Officials say that soon important information about the reasons for the murder and the accused may come to light.
