‘Hotel Transylvania 5’ unveils release date
Everyone’s favorite monster family is checking back in.
Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon MGM Studios are reuniting for a fifth Hotel Transylvania film, The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania, which is set to hit theaters on October 8, 2027, as per Deadline.

Although Hotel Transylvania began as a Sony Pictures Animation franchise, the series took an unexpected turn during the pandemic when Sony licensed the fourth installment, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, to Amazon for an exclusive Prime Video release.
The agreement also gave Amazon MGM Studios the opportunity to co-produce the next chapter in the franchise.
The film will be released in North America through Sony Pictures, while Amazon MGM Studios takes charge of its theatrical distribution in international territories.
Jennifer Kluska and Alan Hawkins are directing the upcoming fifth film, with Lawrence Jonas producing and Genndy Tartakovsky and Michelle Murdocca executive producing.
For the unversed, Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez play Jonathan and Mavis Dracula respectively. Adam Sandler also takes on the lead role of Count Dracula.
