‘How can a child study in America with a salary of 65 thousand?’ Questions raised on Abhijeet Deepke’s father; Made ‘this’ big demand

Abhijeet Dipke News: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), is now under investigation. A Right to Information (RTI) activist from Surat has demanded an inquiry into the financial condition of Deepke’s father. Activist Amit Tiwari has raised the question of how he, despite being a retired employee of the Maharashtra government, managed to raise the funds required to send his son abroad for education. He has also demanded an inquiry from the Election Commission and the Tax Department into the Rs 1 crore ‘Legal Defense Fund’ announced by senior advocate Kapil Sibal for protesters facing police cases.

What did Amit Tiwari say?

Raising a question about the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’, Amit Tiwari asked how an organisation can collect funds in the name of a political party. He said, “CJP is not a registered organisation, yet it is working like a political party. Since it has announced to pay Rs 1 crore for legal defence in the name of the party, the Election Commission should inquire whether the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ is registered or not.” Tiwari added, “If CJP is not registered, then the act of collecting or accepting funds in the name of the party needs to be investigated.”

Sibal’s announcement

An RTI activist has requested the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs to examine whether GST is applicable on the contribution declared by Kapil Sibal to the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. It is noteworthy that on Monday, Kapil Sibal had declared a contribution of Rs 1 crore to the fund of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. The CJP had raised this fund to help the protesters arrested during the NEET paper leak controversy.
