Actually, this responsibility lies with the event management companies, who select professional dancers and performers from within the country and abroad.

What is the process?

Talking about the process of becoming a cheerleader, it is no less than any reality show, in which one has to apply through online casting call or agency. After this you will have to do dance audition or video submission. After this, fitness and stamina test will have to be given. Along with this, camera presence and expression are also assessed. After this the final list is sent to the franchisee, and the contract is signed. In such a situation, to become a cheerleader, it is not only important to be attractive but also to have good dancing skills and stage experience.

How much salary do you get?

According to sources, cheerleaders are paid according to the match. They pay around Rs 12,000 to Rs 25,000 per match. Apart from this, they are also provided other facilities like hotel, travel etc. This is completely contract based work. New recruitment is done every season. In such a situation you have to prove yourself again.
