The third and last match of the 3-match T20 series between India and Afghanistan is today (17 September). This match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from 7:30 pm. Team India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series by winning both the first matches easily. Now Shreyas Brigade is eyeing a clean sweep. The Indian team can give a chance to young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi in this match.
Vaibhav has been left out of the first two matches. The pair of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma have come to open. While Abhishek has batted brilliantly in both the matches, Sanju has also returned to form. Sanju has confirmed his place in the opening slot by scoring 57 runs in 22 balls in the second T20 match. In such a situation, Abhishek or Ishan Kishan can be rested to bring Vaibhav into the playing XI.
Abhishek is coming after playing Sher-e-Punjab T20 League. Ishaan made East Zone the champion by playing a marathon innings of 270 runs in the Duleep Trophy final. Vaibhav can be fielded by giving rest to Abhishek or Ishaan before the Asian Games.
