How will Mujahid Ali’s ‘Thakurdwara Model’ be? SP leader’s big vision on local issues

Moradabad. These days, discussions about Thakurdwara assembly seat are intense in the political circles of Uttar Pradesh. Amidst the election excitement, senior Samajwadi Party leader and former candidate Mujahid Ali has put forward a big vision document regarding the development of the area. Usually, there is a lot of noise about caste equations and verbal attacks in elections, but this time Mujahid Ali has started a new debate by bringing the basic and local issues of Thakurdwara to the center of his politics.

The SP leader, who has secured the top position in the recently released 5 digital surveys, claims that Thakurdwara is still lagging behind in the race of development. Putting the local public representatives in the dock, he said that they have completely failed to solve the basic problems of the area, which are directly related to the lives of the youth, the poor and the patients here. Mujahid Ali made it clear that if the public gives him a chance, his only goal would be to change the face of Thakurdwara.

Dreams of youth take flight: Demand for sports stadium in Thakurdwara

The first and foremost focus of Mujahid Ali’s vision document is the youth of the region. He has advocated building a well-equipped and modern sports stadium in Thakurdwara. The SP leader says, “There is no dearth of talent among the youth of our area, but they are not getting the necessary resources and grounds to hone their sports talent. The biggest need of the youth is to have an excellent stadium at the local level, so that they can bring glory to Thakurdwara at the state and national level.”

Poor health services: There is a dire need for a big and modern hospital.

The condition of Thakurdwara in terms of health facilities is not hidden from anyone. Even today, in case of serious diseases or emergency, people here have to run towards big cities. Commenting on this serious problem, Mujahid Ali said that it is very important to have a big, modern and well-equipped government hospital in Thakurdwara. His vision is that the poor of the area do not have to leave their homes for treatment and they can get all types of medicines and treatment free of cost at the local level.

Road network and 100% implementation of government schemes

Talking about the infrastructure of Thakurdwara, Mujahid Ali has included two big resolutions in his agenda:

  • Rejuvenation of roads: There is scope for extensive improvement in the condition of the internal and main roads of the area. His aim is to connect every village with concrete and strong roads.
  • Development to the last level: Mujahid Ali believes that the welfare schemes of the government should come out of paper and reach directly to the huts of the poor. While being the block chief, he had done a lot of work in this direction, which he now wants to implement in the entire assembly constituency.

‘Block chief tenure’ made the yardstick of development

Mujahid Ali said in a challenging tone that the development work he has done in the area while being the block chief is an example. According to him, “The work which the MLAs and MPs of the area could not do with the funds for years, I have brought that work to fruition during my short tenure as the block chief.” He appealed to the public to decide the future of Thakurdwara not just on promises but by looking at his past track record and intention to work.
