Hyundai Motor India Limited has recorded its highest ever monthly sales in September 2026. The company sold as many as 77,916 vehicles in the domestic market and exports combined. These sales are 10.8% higher than in September last year. Interestingly, the company has surpassed the monthly sales record set a few months ago.
Hyundai has sold 57,166 vehicles in the domestic market. It has increased by 10.9% compared to last year. Domestic sales accounted for nearly 73% of the company’s total September sales. The response to SUV models like Creta and Venue has been important for the company’s sales.

Exports also contributed significantly to Hyundai’s total sales in September. The company exported 20,750 vehicles abroad. Exports have increased by 10.4% compared to last year. That means nearly 1 out of every 4 Hyundai vehicles sold in September were sent to foreign markets.
This sales increase has come at the beginning of the festive season. Therefore, the company expects the number of customers in the showroom to increase in the next few weeks. The response to car buying during the festive season could be crucial for Hyundai.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has launched its new in India Bayon Bookings have started for the SUV. It will be the new nameplate in the company’s Indian lineup. The 5-seater Bayon is expected to slot between the Venue and Creta, giving customers another SUV option.
The Bayon will get a 6-speed manual and an IVT automatic gearbox option along with the petrol engine. The car will also feature a dual-screen digital setup and a built-in generative AI voice assistant. The focus will now be on whether this new SUV gives Hyundai’s sales a boost during the festive season.
