‘I did not give any such statement’, on which viral claim did Suryakumar break his silence?

Former Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav has termed an alleged statement going viral on social media as completely false and fabricated. He clearly said that he has not given any such statement in which he has expressed his displeasure with snatching the captaincy or with the selectors. Suryakumar said that his dedication towards the Indian team, his teammates and cricket is stronger than any fake statement.

Suryakumar Yadav posted on a social media platform and wrote, ‘I saw that a statement in my name is becoming increasingly viral on social media. I want to clarify that I have neither made any such statement nor allowed anyone to make it in my name. Therefore, do not believe any unconfirmed or rumored information and avoid sharing it further. After this post of Suryakumar, people have once again started searching on Google about that viral statement.

What was the viral claim?

For the last few days, a statement in the name of Suryakumar Yadav was becoming increasingly viral on social media. It was claimed that despite winning the T20 World Cup, he was removed from the captaincy and the selectors did not give him any clear information about his future. The alleged statement also said that he did not get the respect he deserved. Now Suryakumar Yadav himself has come forward and rejected all these claims.

Suryakumar Yadav has been among India’s most successful T20 captains. He captained the Indian team in 52 T20 International matches, winning 40 of them. The winning percentage of his captaincy was 80.76, which is counted among the best records of Indian T20 cricket.
