‘I will make a great deal’, Trump said before the second meeting, what did he say about the ceasefire?

The Iran-US ceasefire expires on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Iran is still uncertain about joining the second round of meetings. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said, “We will make a great deal with Tehran.” At the same time, the US President has opened his mouth about the extension of the ceasefire period.

In an interview with US media, Trump said, “We have done better than any other president has done for 47 years with these bloodthirsty people. We have taken a strong stand against them.” He further said, “America has successfully confronted them. In the coming days, a breakthrough is possible between the two countries. Now Iran has to make a decision. Either they use the opportunity or face the consequences.” Regarding the duration of the ceasefire, Trump said, “The ceasefire will not be extended. Because we are running out of time. If there is no agreement within this period, we will resume military operations in Iran. Our military is very strong. We have won the war.”

According to sources, Washington is pushing for a deal that stabilizes global markets and lowers crude oil prices. At the same time, they want Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons to be reduced. Tehran, on the other hand, is seeking relief from all sanctions imposed on it and wants to keep its nuclear program intact. So they are using the Strait of Hormuz as a bargaining chip. “Iran is reviewing the issue of joining the talks. Although no final decision has been made yet,” an Iranian government official said.
