IAS Transfer: 16 IAS officers transferred simultaneously in the state, DCs of many districts changed, orders issued

In Assam, the government of Chief Minister Hemanta Viswa Sarma has made a major administrative reshuffle (Assam IAS Transfer). 16 IAS and 8 ACS officers have been transferred simultaneously. New district commissioners have been appointed in many districts including Udalguri, Majuli, Hojai. Apart from this, there has also been a change in the charge of director and secretary posts. The order related to transfer and appointment has been issued by the Personnel Department on June 24.

Syedain Abbasi has been given the additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary of Irrigation Department. Dr. Om Prakash, Managing Director, Samagra Shiksha Exam Mission, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner and Secretary in the Department of Environment and Forests and Department of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship. Deb Prasad Mishra has been given the responsibility of the post of Secretary of Home and Political Department.

These IAS officers got new responsibility

The new DC of Dhubri will now be Dibakar Nath, who was earlier holding the post of DC of Bongaigaon. Rahul Kumar Gupta has been appointed to the post of DC of Cachar. The responsibility of Halaikandi DC post has been handed over to Jai Vikas, who was earlier serving on the post of Udalguri DC. Srishti Singh has been appointed to the post of Morgaon District Commissioner, who was earlier holding the responsibility of Majuli DC. Parikshit Thoudam has been appointed to the post of DC of South Salmara Mankachar.

Masanda Magdaline Pertin has been appointed to the post of Additional Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Aditya Vikram Yadav has been appointed to the post of Director of Training, Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara. Ayush Garg has been posted as Managing Director of Samagra Shiksha Exam Mission. P Vijay Bhaskar Reddy has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Minority Welfare and Development Department. Megha Nidhi Dahal has been appointed to the post of Secretary, Finance Department. Besides, he has also been given the additional charge of the post of MD, AIDC. Madhu Sudan Nath will be the new secretary of the Agriculture Department.

These ACS officers were transferred

Sanjay Dutt has been made the new DC of Hojai. Ratul Chandra Pathak has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Assam Revenue and Disaster Management Department. Navdeep Pathak has been made the new District Commissioner of Barpeta. Pulak Patgiri has been given the responsibility of the post of District Commissioner of Udalguri. Kharibi Saikia Karan has been made the new District Commissioner of Biswanath. Lakhinandan Sahariya has been given the responsibility of the post of Biswan District Commissioner. Gokul Chandra Brahma has been made the new District Commissioner of Chirang.
