ICC Men’s Player of the Month Nominees for July 2026

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men’s player of the month nominees for July 2026, which include England white-ball captain Harry Brook, Bangladesh batter Tanzid hasan and West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves.

The trio put up an impressive performance during June 2026, playing a key role for their respective sides.

Harry Brook (England)

The England white-ball captain, Harry Brook, has had great success in the ODI series against India, leading the side, but he did not put up much of a score. However, he put up a show on his leadership qualities in the T20 format, setting up a clean sweep against India.

He also made an impressive performance with the bat, scoring 229 runs at a strike rate of 214.01 and an average of 114.50. With his scintillating performance, he was named player of the series and also finished as the leading run scorer.

Justin Greaves (West Indies)

Justin Greaves put up a consistent show for his side with bat and ball across tests and ODI format. His all-rounder performance set up West Indies to draw the second game against Sri Lanka.

He put up an impressive 180 runs in the first innings of the 2nd test, helping the side to draw the innings.

Against Pakistan, Justin Greaves picked a five-wicket haul for 27 and two wickets for 12 in the first and second tests, respectively, helping the side to draw the series. Justin Greaves scored 215 runs at an average of 71.66 in two test matches and took eight wickets at an average of 10.25.

Tanzid Hasan (Bangladesh)

Bangladesh is one of the most consistent contenders with the bat against Zimbabwe. He made a crucial contribution for the side in the ODI series against Zimbabwe in Harare, putting up 159 runs in three matches at an average of 53.00 and a strike rate of 89.93.

Meanwhile, he put up 140 runs in the T20I series against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo, at an average of 70.00 and a strike rate of 127.27, finishing the tour as the leading run-scorer for the white-ball series.

Player of the Month voting process

The Nominees from either category are shortlisted based on their performance by the last day of the month. The Candidates are shortlisted and voted on by the ICC Voting Academy and fans around the World.

The ICC Voting Academy comprises renowned journalists, former players, and ICC Hall of Fame members. They submit their votes by email, which accounts for 90% of the voting members.

Fans registered with the ICC can also vote via the ICC website at icc-cricket.com/awards, which accounts for the remaining 10 per cent. Winners will be announced every second Monday of the month.
