Team India at number-1

According to the latest ICC ODI rankings, Team India remains at number-1 with 118 rating points. New Zealand team is at second position with 113 points. While world champion Australia is at third position with 109 rating points. Apart from this, South Africa has benefited in the current ranking, which has jumped to fourth position with 102 points.

Pakistan suffered loss

Pakistan has lost one place in the current ICC ODI team rankings. He has slipped to fifth position with 98 points. Apart from this, Sri Lanka is at sixth position with 96 points, Afghanistan is at seventh position with 93 points, England is at eighth position with 89 points, Bangladesh is ninth with 84 points and West Indies is at tenth position with 74 points.

Indian batsmen shine in ODI rankings

If we look at the ranking of batsmen in ODI, the dominance of Indian batsmen has been seen in the top-10. Four Indian batsmen are included in the top-10, in which Virat Kohli is at second position, Rohit Sharma is at fourth position, Shubman Gill is at fifth position and KL Rahul is at ninth position.

Important for ODI World Cup 2027

The current ICC ODI team ranking is considered very important for the qualification of the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027. The teams remaining in the top-8 in the ODI rankings till March 31, 2027 will directly qualify for the upcoming ODI World Cup.
