Lucknow. There is intense political activity regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Matriz's latest survey has presented estimates regarding the election picture. According to the survey, if elections are held today, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA alliance may get an edge. However, these figures are estimates, not the actual results of the election.
Who will get how many seats in NDA and INDIA alliance?
According to Matriz survey in Uttar Pradesh, which has 403 assembly seats, NDA is expected to get 245 to 265 seats. At the same time, INDIA alliance can get 135 to 155 seats. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is expected to get 1 to 3 seats and other parties are expected to get 5 to 10 seats.
Talking about vote share, the survey estimates that NDA will get 44 percent votes, INDIA alliance will get 38 percent votes, BSP will get 8 percent votes and other parties will get 10 percent votes. In this way, the difference in vote share between the two major alliances is said to be 6 percent.
Caste equation can become important
In the discussion regarding the survey, the inclination of Kurmi, Koeri, Brahmin, Muslim, Yadav and Dalit voters was also discussed. According to the discussion, the support of Muslim and Yadav voters remains strong with the Samajwadi Party, while the picture is not completely one-sided regarding the stance of OBC voters like Kurmi and Koeri.
At the same time, the support of Brahmin and Dalit voters can also influence the election results. Law and order, development and local issues can play an important role in deciding the choice of voters. At present, survey estimates are showing NDA leading, but there is still time for elections. In such a situation, the strategy of political parties, selection of candidates and the final attitude of the voters will decide the direction of the results.
