Mumbai:Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra recently recalled in a podcast the difficult phase of the year 2021, when he was arrested in a pornography case. He told that the time spent in jail was the most difficult period of his life and at that time the support of his wife Shilpa Shetty became his biggest strength. Raj says that the legal battle in this case is still going on and he is confident that one day the truth will definitely come out.

What happened after coming out of jail

Raj Kundra told that after coming out of jail, it was not easy for him to return to normal life. During this time, many speculations were made in social media and media reports regarding the relationship between him and Shilpa Shetty. He said that during that time the news like divorce had troubled him a lot mentally, but Shilpa always encouraged him. According to him, the actress assured him not to pay attention to these news and to remain together in every situation.

During the podcast, Raj also shared that his inclination towards spirituality increased during his stay in jail. He told that there was a place in the jail where people of different religions used to offer their religious prayers and worship. Initially he used to stay away from all these things, but later on the advice of a priest, he started attending Aarti.

Raj said that he often shared his problems in front of the picture of Sai Baba kept there. He further told that during his last days in jail, he performed Aarti with all his heart and he felt that Sai Baba was with him. The next day he got bail, which he described as an emotional experience for him.

Said- ‘Implicated in a conspiracy’

Referring to the Ganeshotsav of the jail, he also said that during that time the prisoners were allowed to participate in cultural activities. According to him, he was released from jail the next day after Ganesh immersion. At the end of the conversation, Raj Kundra said that he has been fighting a legal battle in this matter for the last four years. He said that he was implicated in a conspiracy and during this he also had a media trial. However, he said that if he has not done any wrong, then he is confident that the truth will come out.
