Ingredients for garnish: Roasted coconut, condensed milk, silver work, fresh rose petals, finely chopped pistachios

How to make Sugar Free Khajoor Peda

Step 1: First of all, heat 2-3 tablespoons of ghee in a pan. After the ghee is hot, add semolina to it and fry it well for 2-3 minutes.

Second Step: Now add date paste to it and cook on medium flame for about 5-6 minutes. After this, add some ghee and grated fresh coconut and mix everything well.

Step 3: Cook this mixture for about 10 minutes. After this, add finely chopped apricots, figs, almonds and pistachios and mix well.

Fourth Step: Now take out the prepared mixture in a bowl and let it cool a little. When the mixture cools down enough to handle with hands, take a lemon-sized portion of it and shape it into a round shape to prepare peda.

Fifth Step: After this, add grated fresh coconut and ghee in a pan. Fry it on low to medium flame for 3-4 minutes. When the color of the coconut becomes light golden, take it out in a plate or tray and keep it aside. Use this roasted coconut to coat the trees.

Step 6: Place all the trees on a serving plate. Pour some condensed milk on top and serve garnished with silver work, rose petals and finely chopped pistachios. If you want to make peda completely without sugar, then decorate it with dry fruits and pistachios instead of condensed milk.
