Imran Abbas says no new dramas planned currently

Responding to a fan’s question during an Instagram Q&A session, the actor clarified that viewers should not expect to see him in a new drama anytime soon. He explained that he has deliberately stayed away from television work and has not committed to any productions.

Imran Abbas said he is not planning a return to the entertainment industry at present, adding that his primary focus is on his business ventures. According to the actor, his professional priorities have shifted for the time being, and he is dedicating his time and energy to expanding his business interests rather than pursuing acting opportunities.

The actor also reiterated a view he has expressed in previous interviews. He said many of the scripts currently being offered to him do not meet his expectations or provide the creative satisfaction he seeks as a performer. Because of this, he has chosen not to return to television despite continued interest from fans.

Imran Abbas has remained a popular figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, having starred in several successful television dramas over the years. His performances earned him widespread recognition, making him one of the country’s well-known actors. Although he has stayed away from television projects recently, his comments suggest that the decision is based on personal and professional preferences rather than a permanent departure from acting.

For now, the actor appears content with his current direction, focusing on his business activities while keeping the possibility of future acting projects open only if a script aligns with his creative standards.
