Imran finished! Government of Pakistan declares state of emergency on the border, begins President's rule

In only one province did the opposition government survive. Pakistan has declared a state of emergency there as well. Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday imposed a state of emergency in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in accordance with the provisions of the Pakistani constitution. It is to be noted that until now the government of former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party PTI was in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This time President's rule started there.

PTI workers-supporters have taken to the streets to demand the release of imprisoned Imran. The people of Pakistan are also angry after seeing Imran's imprisonment. They are joining the procession one after another. Shahbaz Sharif's government is shaking because of that. Protesters are being branded as anti-militants. It has been made clear from Islamabad that the PTI government has completely failed to maintain law and order in the province. Therefore, a state of emergency has been imposed in that province by imposing Article 232 and 234 of the Constitution of Pakistan. President's rule has started in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The governor of that province, Faisal Karim Kundi, said that those who take the law into their hands will be dealt with with an iron hand. Naturally PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan strongly opposed this decision. According to him, this incident is very worrying. A terrible political mistake has been made undemocratically. The conflict between the Center and the States will increase as a result of this decision. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has already suffered repeated attacks by TTP. PTI claims that the situation will not improve due to the state of emergency.

Incidentally, PTI workers-supporters started a huge march from Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to reach Islamabad. They demand Imran's release. But the Pakistani government has already carried out massive repression in this march that started from October 5. At least 2000 people have been arrested in addition to baton charges. Security has been beefed up on major roads in Islamabad. Containers have been dropped and the road has been blocked. A state of emergency has been declared in the entire province.
