Bareilly. Police have claimed to have solved the murder of a person in Faiznagar village of Bhuta police station area. According to the police, a man named Pappu was murdered by his wife Nargis along with her lover Riyaz alias Raja. It is alleged that after the incident, the body was packed in a sack and thrown in the bushes near Mirzapur kiln. The police recovered the body after about seven days.
Murder plan made after seeing in objectionable situation
According to the police, Riyaz used to visit Pappu's house and he had a relationship with Nargis about three-four years ago. On September 10, Pappu allegedly saw both of them in an objectionable situation. Riyaz ran away from there, while Pappu beat his wife. Police say that after this Nargis and Riyaz planned to remove Pappu from the way.
It has come to light that Riyaz reached there after Pappu slept on the night of 11th September. According to the police, Nargis held Pappu's legs and Riyaz strangled him with a plastic rope. After this, the body was packed in a sack and thrown on the bike in the bushes near Mirzapur Kiln. Police collected evidence from the spot with the help of forensic team.
First filed a missing complaint, then accused the lover of murder
According to the police, after Pappu's disappearance, Nargis and Riyaz reached the police station on September 15 and lodged a missing complaint. Later there was a dispute between the two. After this, Nargis filed a complaint against Riyaz for the murder of her husband. The police became suspicious of this development and interrogated both of them separately.
According to the police, during interrogation, both of them accepted their role in the incident. The body was recovered at the behest of the accused. The police presented both of them before the Judicial Magistrate, from where they were sent to jail. A case has been registered against Nargis and Riyaz on the complaint of the deceased's brother Bundan.
According to the police, Pappu lived in Faiznagar with his wife and six children and worked as a tailor. In this case, a dispute regarding relations has come to light behind the murder. The police are continuing to investigate other facts and evidence related to the incident.
