CM Yogi Chitrakoot Visit: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached religious city Chitrakoot on his one-day visit on Sunday. Here the Chief Minister conducted aerial and ground inspection of the areas affected by the severe floods. The Chief Minister met hundreds of families affected by the flood of Mandakini river, learned about their pain and sufferings and distributed ration kits and relief materials to them. Providing prompt assistance in this hour of disaster, the Chief Minister handed over checks of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand to each of the three flood victims whose houses were lost to the flood, while also giving land allotment certificates to some beneficiaries. The administration is currently conducting a survey, soon similar help will be provided to other affected people.
Assured of help to every section
During the distribution of relief material, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the public that in this hour of crisis, the Uttar Pradesh government stands strongly with the flood victims. He said that no victim needs to worry. The government will provide all possible help to all affected people of every section without any discrimination. He gave strict instructions to the officials that negligence will not be tolerated at any level in relief work.
CM Yogi gave check and land allotment certificate
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to know the pain of the flood affected people and the latest status of the relief work, presented checks of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand each to Mukesh, Lallu and Chunnilal from the stage in the relief material distribution program organized at the Ramayana Mela in Chitrakoot, while the land allotment certificate was given to Ram Suraj and Suraj Kali after their house was completely damaged.
The victims expressed gratitude to CM Yogi
The flood victims looked happy after getting immediate help from the Chief Minister. People expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister after receiving the assurance of relief material and permanent houses. Rani and Manju, residents of Sitapur Malkana area, told that our entire house was submerged in the flood and all the household items were destroyed. Today, the Chief Minister himself has come and given us ration kit, which has brought us great relief. The Chief Minister has also given us the assurance of building a new house.
Got assurance of building a house with ration kit
Asha, a resident of Katra Gujar village, told that our house was submerged in the flood. But due to the alertness of the administration and Yogi government, we were continuously getting food items from the first day of the flood. Even in the midst of disaster, we were not allowed to sleep hungry. Another flood victim Gyan Singh said that his mud house had collapsed in the flood. Today ration kit was also received and assurance of construction of house was also given. I have never seen such a Chief Minister in my life who would personally come among the victims so quickly and share their pain and suffering. What Yogi ji did, no Chief Minister till date has done.
Instructions given to speed up rehabilitation works
The people and representatives of Chitrakoot have greatly appreciated this quick visit and sensitivity of the Chief Minister. After visiting the flood areas, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the local administration and directed to normalize the situation as soon as possible and expedite the rehabilitation works.
