It is alleged that Nancy Aggarwal has wrongly given illegal refund of Rs 65.5 crore to more than 3000 clients through fake claims. However, the woman’s fraud has been detected by the Income Tax Department.

So much jewelery and cash recovered

According to media reports, the Income Tax Department has recovered a huge treasure from Nancy Aggarwal, who allegedly committed a tax refund scam of Rs 357 crore. After the raid, the department has seized jewelery worth Rs 50 lakh and FD worth Rs 4 crore. Apart from this, the bank locker has also been sealed and a notice has been issued. Not only this, the department has also recovered many documents including cash worth Rs 5 lakh, hand-written ledgers and computer-laptop from where information about his clients was obtained.
