This had happened twice before, the first time being Ashley Mallett (3/34) and Keith Stackpole (3/40) for Australia against England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in January 1971; And for the second time, Colin Croft (3/50) and Joel Garner (3/27) did this for West Indies against Pakistan at Albion in March 1997.
