New Delhi: Fast bowler Aaqib Nabi has been included in the Indian cricket team for the first three ODIs against New Zealand after Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the five-match series due to a hamstring injury. Nabi was in the team for the fourth and fifth ODIs but now he will be available for selection from the first match itself. The first match will be played in Auckland on November 4.
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said in a release, “The right-arm fast bowler was selected for the fourth and fifth ODIs but will now be in the team from the start of the ODI series.” Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler Nabi recently played a four-day match for India A against New Zealand A in Lincoln, taking six wickets in two innings.
