Respected Principal, respected teachers and my dear colleagues…

This day is a symbol of great pride and respect for all of us Indians. 80th Independence Day is not a gift, but an invaluable result of the sacrifice of our brave martyrs. On 15 August 1947, our country became independent from the slavery of the British. Lakhs of heroes sacrificed their lives to give us this freedom. We should always remember their sacrifice and build the India of their dreams. True patriotism is to maintain the honor, pride and glory of the country. Today it is our duty to progress like our country, get education, and perform our duties honestly. Where there is love, unity and respect, that is the identity of true India. Let us all together pledge to make our India a clean, educated, safe and developed nation. The tricolor is not only our national flag but also a symbol of pride and respect for crores of Indians. Always respect your tricolor and contribute to the progress of your country. Let us together create an India that every Indian can be proud of.

Respected Chief Guest Sir, respected Principal, respected teachers, and my dear friends, my respectful greetings to all of you.
Today we all have gathered here to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of our country. On 15 August 1947, our India became independent from the slavery of the British. We have got this freedom due to the sacrifice, struggle and sacrifice of millions of freedom fighters. We should never forget the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmibai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and many other heroes. Today our India is progressing rapidly in the fields of science, education, agriculture, defence, space and technology. But it is the responsibility of all of us citizens to make the country greater. We should follow honesty, discipline, cleanliness, environmental protection and national unity. Come, on this auspicious occasion, let us all take a pledge that we will respect our country, follow the Constitution and contribute in making India a developed, safe and prosperous nation. Finally I conclude my speech with these lines
“Better than all, our Hindus. Vande Mataram! Jai Bharat Mata! Jai Hind!”
Thank you.
