Cricket Association of Nepal informed on July 10 that T20 series will be played between the two teams. The series was confirmed after talks between officials of the BCCI and the Cricket Association of Nepal during the ICC annual conference in Edinburgh.
The first T20 will be played on 9 December
The series of 3 T20 matches between India and Nepal will start from the beginning of December. The first T20 match of the series will be played on 9 December. Whereas the second T20 match will be played on 11 December and the third T20 match will be played on 13 December. All the matches of the series will be played at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Young players who perform well in IPL will get a chance in India A. If these players perform well then they may get a chance in Team India soon.

Nepal team has come to India and prepared for the big tournament.
Nepal team had played a tri-series with the domestic teams of Gujarat and Baroda for the preparations for T20 World Cup 2024. Apart from this, the Nepal team had sweated a lot in BCCI’s ‘Centre of Excellence’ located in Bengaluru. To prepare for the T20 World Cup 2024 hosted by West Indies and America, the Nepal team also played some practice matches at the Center of Excellence.
