Fire breaks out in coach of Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express
An incident of fire in B-1 coach of Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express has come to light. This fire broke out between Luni Richha and Vikramgarh Alot station. According to the Railways, the fire broke out near the SLR portion of the B-1 coach. Immediately after the incident, all the passengers present in the coach were taken out safely. There is no news of injury to any passenger or railway employee or loss of life or property.
As soon as the fire broke out, the Railways immediately stopped the OHE power supply, after which the affected B-1 coach was separated from the train. West Central Railway employees and officials reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire was started.
During this time Train No. 12955 was stopped at Mahidpur Road station. Railways has said that the track will be completely cleaned soon. At present the cause of the fire is being investigated.
